5 DON'T WARM UP YOUR ENGINES...
...when you can write a captivating story from the very start.
* Description stops the action
* Fiction looks forward, not backward
* Good fiction starts with - and deals with - someone's response to threat (change)
* List ten times you felt most scared or worried
* List ten changes that you think might make good opening threats in stories
These last two bullets (lists of changes/threats) will be my entry for tomorrow.
Today's writing: 1.6 hours/partial rewrite of chorus of 1 song; brainstorming, rough draft of another song; journaling (about 4 pages)
